La Police a communiqué de nouvelles informations concernant le trafic d’armes dans lequel est impliquée l’Eglise Episcopale d’Haïti. Selon ces informations, l’Eglise Episcopale effectuait des transferts d’argent vers un trafiquant d’armes d’origine zimbabwéenne. Des transfers énormes allant jusqu’à trente mille dollars.
Selon ce dernier rapport, le secrétaire exécutif de l’Eglise Episcopale, Frantz Cole a un compte bancaire détenant 1 million de dollars. Le Père Cole recevait également une somme de 300 000 gourdes en provenance du Parlement. La Police ignore pourquoi le Parlement lui envoyait de telles sommes.
L’Eglise Episcopale d’Haïti a agi selon ce rapport comme fournisseur d’armes. Elle gardait les armes stockées à l’intérieur de container dans des écoles. Elle les vendait à plusieurs gangs dont celui de Torcell et de Village de Dieu.
