Les assauts des gangs armés se multiplient et c’est Carrefour-Feuille qui est la suivante. Les résidents ont fui leur maison pour survivre aux balles des gangsters qui retentissent.
Les nombreux réfugiés du fait des gangs doivent trouver un endroit plus sûr. Cependant, le risque de se réfugier dans une nouvelle zone ciblée par des gangs est bel et bien existant.
La population de Carrefour-Feuilles a tenté de manifester pour dénoncer les attaques qu’elle subissait avant que les choses dégénèrent. Toutefois, la Police a essayé de la contenir et d’empêcher les protestations.
Plus d’un demande le déploiement de l’armée haïtienne pour combattre les gangs qui terrorisent la population. Le gouvernement d’Ariel Henry avait promis de mobiliser l’armée mais cela est jusqu’à présent un simple discours.
À qui crier? À qui aller? La ministre de la sécurité publique, Emelie Prophète a déjà conseillé au peuple de se défendre lui-même.
