Les syndicalistes ont annoncé trois nouvelles journées de contestation en raison de leur insatisfaction de l’ajustement de 24,24% du salaire minimum, soit 685 gourdes. Ce qui est nettement inférieure à ce que réclament les ouvriers.
Les nouvelles prochaines manifestations seront organisées à Port-au-Prince et dans le Nord-Est en date du 23, 24, et 25 février pour continuer à soutenir la réclamation de 1500 gourdes comme salaire minimum en faveur des ouvriers de la sous-traitance.
L’annonce a été faite par le coordonnateur général de la CNOHA, Dominique St Eloi, ce lundi 21 février, peu après la décision prise par le gouvernement.
Selon lyi, cet ajustement ne reflète pas la somme qui peut répondre aux besoins des sous-traitants. Qui plus est, ces derniers veulent aussi des accompagnements sociaux en vue de faire face aux aléas journaliers, à savoir le coût du transport et de la nourriture.
