La police nationale d’Haïti (PNH) a reçu, le mardi 21 décembre 2021, un lot de matériels roulant de l’ambassade du Japon en Haïti.
Dans un communiqué, la police nationale d’Haïti (PNH) informe avoir reçu le mardi 21 décembre 2021, un lot de matériels roulants de l’Ambassade du Japon en Haïti.Ce don de véhicules est composé d’ambulances et de fourgons d’incendie.
Le ministre de la justice et de la sécurité publique, Listz Quitel a salué cette coopération existant entre les deux pays depuis très longtemps.
De son côté, le directeur général a.i. de la police nationale d’Haïti, Frantz Elbé, a remercié le gouvernement du Japon pour son support accordé à l’institution policière. Le DG de la PNH a dit également compter sur ce partenariat en vue de renfoncer la lutte contre la criminalité et le grand banditisme dans le pays
Pour sa part Yuji KUBO, l’ambassadeur du Japon en Haïti a réitéré la volonté du gouvernement japonais à supporter son pays ami, Haïti. Ce don de matériels roulants est financé par le Japon à hauteur de 571 000 dollars US. Il a dit espérer que ces matériels serviront à réduire les pertes en vies humaines.
