Le directeur général de la Police Nationale d’Haïti, Frantz Elbé a informé que pour des raisons stratégiques en matière de sécurité, les policiers donnent la priorité au Terminal Varreux plutôt qu’à celui de Thor situé aux environs de Martissant.
Depuis hier, des opérations sont menées au niveau de Varreux et le numéro 1 de la Police parle de réussite. Selon Elbé, un couloir sécuritaire pour les transporteurs et facilitant l’approvisionnement à partir de Varreux a été établi cependant il affirme que les transporteurs ont toujours peur de s’y rendre. Il invite en ce sens tous les acteurs à jouer leur rôle pendant que la Police travaille pour assurer côté sécurité.
Aucune date, aucune échéance n’a été fournie par le gouvernement alors que l’attente dans cette crise de carburant devient insoutenable.
