Ce lundi 14 juin, plusieurs zones de la région métropolitaine de Port-au-Prince ont été émaillées de violences. Bas de Delmas, Martissant, Cité Soleil et route de l’earoport des tirs nourris ont été entendus. Suite à cette situation, le Bureau Intégré des Nations-Unies en Haïti dit profondément préoccupé par la recrudescence de la violence en Haïti et appelle à mettre fin aux violences.
Dans un message publié lundi, sur son compte Twitter le BINUH a appelé à cessation de violences dans l’objectif de favoriser l’aide humanitaire aux populations dans le besoin
“Nous exhortons toutes les parties intéressées à mettre fin à la violence et à permettre l’accès à l’aide humanitaire aux populations dans le besoin”, a déclaré le Bureau Intégré des Nations –Unies en Haïti.
Cet organisme a plaidé en faveur d’un cessez-le-feu dans le pays en vue de permettre à la population de vaccuer à leurs activités.
