Les images des corps massacrés des agents de la PNH et traînés au sol publiés sur les réseaux sociaux, ont provoqué une vive indignation chez des haïtiens vivant en Haïti ou à l’étranger. Pour exprimer leur indignation, ils ont lancé un hashtag qui fait le tour des réseaux sociaux.

#Libérez Haïti » « #FreeHaïti, c’est le nouvel hashtag qui devient viral sur les réseaux sociaux. Plusieurs personnalités expriment leur solidarité à la PHH durement touchée par cette tragédie.
En Haïti, des artistes comme Powèt Revòlte, Baky, Paska et Rustchelle Guillaume sont parmi les artistes qui ont partagé le hashtag en démontrant leurs solidarités à la Police Nationale d’Haïti.
Garcelle Beauvais, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Cardi-B, Vegedream, Kalash Rapsody sont des artistes étrangers qui l’ont partagé sur leur compte twitter.
