Ce vendredi 17 mars 2022, le chef du gouvernement Ariel Henry a visité le corps d’aviation militaire. Au cours de sa visite, il a prononcé un discours sur la nécessité de se pencher sur la situation de l’insécurité. Ariel Henry a reconnu l’incapacité de la Police Nationale d’Haïti à mettre les gangs hors d’état de nuire. C’est pourquoi, il envisage de mobiliser les soldats des forces armées d’Haïti dans la lutte contre l’insécurité.
Ariel Henry se dit pour une collaboration entre la Police Nationale d’Haïti et les Forces Armées d’Haïti dans ce contexte difficile. Beaucoup de zones sont contrôlées par des gangs, des commerces sont fermés, des écoles ont arrêté les cours. Malgré tous ces faits, l’intervention étrangère est refusée à Ariel Henry.
Est-ce que l’armée haïtienne pourra faire la différence ? Rappelons qu’avant Ariel Henry, le défunt Président Jovenel Moïse a également promis de mobiliser l’armée. Promesse qui ne s’est pas matérialisée.
