Les Professionnels de Santé affectés dans la prise en charge des patients de Covid-19 à Bon-Repos ne sont toujours pas rémunérés. Le Ministère de la Santé Publique et de la Population fait la sourde oreille alors que leur contrat de travail est arrivé à terme depuis environ une année.
Ce n’est un secret pour personne, la santé n’a jamais été une priorité pour l’État haïtien, le faible budget alloué au secteur et le traitement mesquin affligé aux professionnels sanitaires en est la preuve irréfutable.
Au cœur d’une pandémie mondiale, la première ligne de défense contre la maladie est traitée en parent pauvre en Haïti. Plus de 200 braves professionnels, n’ont pas reçu de salaires plus d’une année après leur prestation de service. Et pourtant, des sommes faramineuses avaient été débloquées en faveur d’Haïti pour gérer une pandémie qui fort heureusement n’a eu l’effet d’une montagne accouchant d’une souris.
De juin à Décembre 2021 aucun contrat n’est honoré dans le Centre de Prise en Charge Covid -19 de Bon Repos ( situé à l’Hôpital des Policiers). Personnels de Santé (Médecins, Infirmières, Auxiliaires, Technologistes, Pharmaciens), ni personnels administratifs ni personnels de soutien n’ont reçu aucun sou. Dépassés par la situation, certains des concernés requérant l’anonymat, ont tiré la sonnette d’alarme pour exiger leur dû et se sont confiés à notre Rédaction.
“Les Contractuels ont eu droit à 2 contrats sur 7 mois. L’un de Juin à septembre 2021 et l’autre de Octobre à Décembre 2021, à date aucun des deux n’a été honoré” ont-ils fustigé.
Les Responsables au MSPP n’ont accordé aucune suite aux requêtes et revendications des contractuels. Ces derniers annoncent des mouvements de protestation à plusieurs niveaux pour exiger leur rémunération dans les plus brefs délais.
