Depuis dimanche 24 avril, une affaire d’argent opposant le chanteur Roody Roodboy et son ex-manager Joslord Elmilus est virale sur les réseaux. Joslord Emilus aurait vidé les comptes du groupe sans l’aval du chanteur qui en est co-signataire. Cette action qui ressemble à une trahison allait déboucher sur l’éviction de Joslord de l’équipe managériale du chanteur. “Joslord Emilus n’est plus mon nanager”, a écrit l’artiste.
Constatant les retraits irréguliers , Roody accompagné d’un juge de paix a fait arrêter Joslord Emilus qui était censé quitter le pays et ce dernier est encore gardé à vue. Suite à cet incident, plusieurs acteurs influents de l’industrie musicale ont discuté du sujet dans des Twitter Space. Cependant, le principal concerné Roody Roodboy bien qu’auditeur n’est pas intervenu.
A l’issue de ces “Space”, un nouveau nom est cité dans l’affaire. Il s’agit d’une employée de la Sogebank nommée Anne Kétia Georges. Cette employée a eu une liaison avec Joslord et était également devenue l’amie de Roody. Elle facilitait aux messieurs de faire des transactions bancaires avec plus de rapidité en leur évitant de longues files d’attente. Anne Kétia Georges a donc pu disposer des copies d’identité de Joslord et de Roody Roodboy pour faire ces manoeuvres frauduleuses, a expliqué l’avocat de l’artiste qui intervenait dans le “Space”. Anne Kétia Georges serait réputée de vider les comptes des vendeurs de devise, a-t-il continué.
L’argent retiré illégalement est estimé à des millions de gourdes et des dizaines de milliers de dollars qui étaient dans deux comptes appartenant au groupe Roody Roodboy.
Comment va finir ce dossier? L’affaire sera transférée au Tribunal Correctionnel, a twitté Métronome. C’est donc un dossier à suivre. Entre temps, pas de nouvelle d’Anne Kétia Georges.
