La police nationale d’Haïti arrive à reprendre le contrôle du commissariat de Martissant occupé par des gangs armés depuis le mois juin.
« Des policiers affectés aux unités spécialisées dont BOID et UDMO occupent depuis le jeudi 5 août 2021, le commissariat de Martissant », a tweeté la PNH.
Toujours selon la PNH, des policiers sillonnent la zone dans des blindés, en vue de garantir un climat de paix au niveau de la troisième circonscription de Port-au-Prince, très mouvementée depuis plus deux mois à cause des affrontements ensanglantés des gangs armés.
Soulignons que des milliers de déplacés qui ont fui la terreur des gangs armés sont logés au centre sportif de Carrefour ou ailleurs.
