La Police a informé ce 14 juillet 2021 de l’arrestation de l’entrepreneur Reynaldo Corvington qui était frappé d’interdiction de départ et du nommé Gilbert Dragon.
La Police s’est rendue chez les suspects en présence d’un juge de paix pour y effectuer des perquisitions. Chez Reynaldo Corvington, les policiers ont retrouvé: 8 fusils de calibre 12 mm dont 3 automatiques, 1 M1, 1 AR-15, 9 pistolets, 5 fusils de chasse, des chargeurs, 3 grenades à fragmentation et 1 véhicule.
Lors de la perquisition chez Gilbert Dragon, la Police a saisi des cartouches de calibre 12 mm, 1 AR-15, 2 pistolets de calibre 9 mm et 2 gilets pare-ballles.
Il faut souligner que le nommé Désir Gordon Phenil est recherché par la Police dans le cadre de l’enquête sur l’assassinat de Jovenel Moïse. Désir Gordon Phenil est responsable de location des véhicules, de la coordination des rencontres avec les mercenaires et du paiement des matériels.
24 mesures conservatoires ont été prises contre des policiers et responsables d’unité et 4 sont placés en isolement.
Par ailleurs, il faut préciser que les policiers convoqués par le parquet dont Dimitri Hérard n’ont pas répondu à l’invitation du commissaire du gouvernement. Dans une lettre, Dimitri Hérard a avancé qu’à cause de la mesure conservatoire par laquelle il est frappé, il n’a pas pu se rendre à l’audition.
