En vue de de protester contre l’insécurité, le kidnapping et le respect de la constitution, les syndicalistes annoncent deux journées de grève générale pour les 1 et 2 février 2021.
En effet, au cours d’une conférence de presse tenue le vendredi 22 janvier 2021, à Port-au-Prince, le Collectif des Syndicats Haïtiens pour le Respect de la constitution de 1789 projette une grève général prévue pour les 1er et 2 février .Selon eux, l’objectif c’est de protester contre l’insécurité et les cas de kidnapping qui augmentent dans le pays ces derniers jours.
Le pays connait une aggravation du climat de l’insécurité, l’augmentation des cas d’enlèvement, des massacres et la prolifération des gangs dans le pays .En signe de protestation, le Collectif des Syndicats Haïtiens pour le Respect de la constitution de 1789 ont appelé à une grève générale pour les 1er et 2 février 2021.
Selon Me Duclos Bénissoit , leur porte-parole, tous les secteurs de la vie nationale doit contribuer afin de trouver des stratégies en vue pour contenir la crise systématique du pays.
Les dirigeants de plusieurs structures ont appuyé cette décision, dont Arnel Remy du collectif des avocats pour la défense des droits humains, et Dominique St Eloi pour la centrale National des ouvriers.
Parallèlement, le Secteur dit démocratique et populaire annonce un éventuel « pays-Locked »
