Les prix à la consommation au Japon ont connu leur plus forte hausse depuis 7 ans, selon des données officielles publiées cette semaine, dans un contexte de forte inflation mondiale et de dépréciation du yen face au dollar.
Le monde fait face à une crise économique grave. Le Japon en ressent déjà les conséquences qui inquiètent de plus en plus.
Le principal indice des prix à la consommation , qui exclut les produits frais, a affiché une hausse de 2,1 % sur un an , selon les données publiées par le ministère de l’Intérieur.
C’est la première fois depuis mars 2015 que l’inflation dépasse 2% au Japon . En mars, les prix ont augmenté de 0,8 %, déjà la plus forte hausse en plus de deux ans.
Certains observateurs pointent du doigt la guerre en Europe, la dégradation de l’environnement et la crise sanitaire pour justifier la flambée des prix dans plusieurs pays dont le Japon pourtant un géant économique mondial.
